Pharmacy Resident- Pharmacy Full-time - 1348183
Description
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Participation in clinical pharmacy services and education under the supervision of the pharmacy clinical staff. Performs all duties of a registered Pharmacist, including Patient Focused Care clinical activities throughout the hospital to provide patients with optimal medication therapy. Achievement of the Goals and Objectives set by the Residency Committee as recommended by ASHP. Completion of a research project.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school with a Doctor of Pharmacy or B.S. degree. Current pharmacy license in the state of Georgia or eligibility for licensure. Ability to work effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately. Up to date knowledge of drug and disease state information. Ability to monitor, evaluate and make recommendations concerning patients’ medication therapy.
